Hey bro, love the intro. Powerful piano work with nice backing. What sample/VST is that? It sounds pretty damn nice.
I like that this piece feels melodic and almost classical while still having electronic influence and sounds. I like the feel and ambiance that this piece provides, largely due to the nice background strings.
Mastering is quite good, but some of the piano notes are struggling to be heard at certain parts amongst all of the other sounds. This was particularly apparent to me at ~2:00, through that section.
I like the distortion effects around 2:50 quite a bit; the higher pitches add a cool eeriness to the mix. I feel the detune on the pads from 3:20 on is too heavy, though, and would have personally preferred a lot less.
Overall a very well done piece that I enjoyed listening too. Thanks for posting.
9/10 + t20

My friend im really very sorry for my late response on your review..
So this track "PolarityInflux" is a very professional work i can see it since from the first second it plays..This can be even used as a Hollywood Movie's Sound Track. You played all those piano and instrumens..I really respect you very very much..The melodic structure is amazing just amazing. The strings and everything fits very very well..For the piano to be loud at some place and silent at another place makes you really totally interested with the track in all seconds..
I cant say anything for you to change coz everything is really honestly perfect for me..Maybe just the outro. You dont need to put the last effect on it ...And it stops a little bit sudden. But this is not a big problem. It doesnt make any trouble at all.
I understand from this type of music coz i love everything instrumental...Especially high class like this...
Respect and best wishes all the time..
10 + top vote for sure.

Hi mate,
Well, where to start? You really seem to have produced something quite remarkable here and I could easily see this track ending up in a film or production of some kind. It's so dramatic and dark. I like dark :O)
Though dark and moody, it's also refreshing to hear something new like this. I'm also using FLS 9 and can appreciate the work you put into this to get that rich, cascade of sounds. I really love the piano. It's good the hear a VSTi piano that sounds convincing. Anything elso would not have worked and it's the piano that pulls everything together and holds it there.
I like your uncompromising style. You seem to know what you want and only that sound will do. You have used sounds that I wouldn't have dreamt of, but the placement of them is perfect and doesn't ruin the picture - just brings in more focus.
Congratulations on producing this and I'd like you to recommend another of your own favorite tracks for me to have a listen.
Respect, Steve
Artist Reply :: 7.18.2010 :: Well why recommend another when we can just co-produce a track, i'm currently in need with skill sets like your own available. I would ask Splinter aka Recoil, but he's a busy man.
So then I'm extending my offer outwards, Projected project would be Dusky Horizon, or whatever the title changes too, main melody is set along with interchangable pace, I can match any drums/ sequence you produce, etc. Give me a email and i'll send you the sampler for the new track. peace out bro. -DJTainted :: by: djtainted

When I'm listening to this, its like a dramatic conclusion to an epic story mixed with sorrow, rage and darkness. The piano is the main standout here and the melodies you use match the atmosphere very well. I love the fact that their are no drums here. You let the music speak for itself and many can't do that without some form of percussion. There isn't much i would personally change aside from the loudness of the strings over the main piano theme, but maybe you wanted it that way. In all this is an superb piece of work that show that music can truly speak for itself without the accompaniment of drums.
