Hey M,
I've had this on the HDD for a couple days now and every time I play it there's a slightly different feeling. I have to say it's best at night, when it gets a certain dark glintiness. As someone who grew up with vinyl there's a deep-seated unease around glitches. And everyone with at least half a brain fears ticking clocks, creepy monk choirs and snakey sandpaper sounds. Add the lush-yet-focused production and some off-kilter musical teasers and you've got fear vs intrigue on the one hand, and logic vs illogic on the other. Good times as you squirm edgily in the monitor-glow.

Pressed play and tripped out.
it's a thing of beauty really =) I have no idea what you're doing most of the time lol but it sounds really fuckin cool. Use of delay and reverb is really tasteful and give the track alot of it's atmosphere. It just wouldn't be the same without that use of stereo space either. Everything is soo twisted and unusual! =D lovin the monks btw lol
Parts of it remind me of the kinda things MusicalLSD used to do with his music. When I started listening I thought 'You could make an amazing IDM or ambient breaks remix of this'.
Whole track was strangely like a lullaby....sound quality and mixdown was great, arrangement (completely unpredictable) was unusual and interesting, definatly added to the 'where am I going?' feeling I got from listening =)
Would sound brilliant as the backing track to a scary computer game or something, bongo's are very tasteful. If this is what you're capable of when ur only learning the software I can't wait to see what you're able to achieve when I know It like fruity =D
Thanks for reviewing Deviant eman8. I really value the feedback. Keep it up man
10/10 +20 (I gotta stop giving full marks but for sheer originality and spaceiness this deserves no less)
Mazzi.

Reviewing as I listen.
Nice sounds, great use of stereo space.
Kinda crazy, dunno what you are doing but it sounds sweet.
Ah, bongos come in.. but not normal bongos... no, space bongos! Nice.
Kind of reminds me of Donkey Kong Country a bit at points (melody [in a good way, one of my fav soundtracks])
Overall this is pretty and weird, a nice journey you have taken me on.
Thanks :)

Helloooo,
You know, with tags like 'alien', 'dark' & 'mushroom' all together I just had to give this a try. I can always expect something from the flipside from you and you didn't fail me. Totally hypnotic, physcotic mind-meld of sounds. Some sounds haunting, some childlike which I think adds to the overall freaky.
Although ambient, this track has structure - form perhaps which at times pulls the listener in and then away as the background sounds expand forwards. Think I've smoked to much while listening to this ;O)
It's the tribal drums section that I particually like. The way the track stops and them that rhythm comes in.
I stay this often, buy how can you offer up any criticism for a track like this. The sounds are superb, the production is pucker and the artist has genuine talent.
Respect eman8ions, phats

Feel like a walk in the rain - 2?

I have to say just like your last review I too am a sucker for ambient and this is one good song. It almost becomes scary at times but that's never a bad thing. I love how out of no thin air a beat comes. It feels like I'm lost in a deep jungle and I have no intentions of looking for my way out, this is my new home.
