well put together, i love the progression of the track, how it picks up, then gets sparse just to drop back in again. good use of vocal melodies, digging the vocoder intro, i like the tabla use and ethnic feel to the track, totally need to smoke a blunt and just vibe out. 2009 baby making music, that's what this should be tagged as! much love, keep it up, hope to hear more from you soon!!!

track from my new album-enjoy!!!

Wonderful vocals. Wow. I love the lyrics.
Music and music production are spot on, too. Must say, though, the vocals are very soulful pop and, as such, I think the music could really work better if it didn't compete with the vocalist at points. I know it might be hard to make the music take a back seat, but the songs finer points are when this happens.
I intend to say that as humbly as possible - please don't think I'm trying to put too fine a point on it. Yeh, it's an apology, but I feel it's due. The music is beautiful.
Great work, Eko Centrik. Never heard your music before, but I like what I hear.

One of the best music productions i have heard in a long time regarding the laid back chill kinda genre in music. The female on vocals has such perfect voice, think she will be able to compete with the best if she is given the opportunity. As for the song production it is a pleasure to listen to in all aspects.
The Bass Thump intro an vocoder in the beginning made me think , oh no, not one those i wana sing on vocoder songs. When all sudden comes the vocals of a voice that can lift the roof and catches the ears. with the vocals the vocoder in the background blends so sweetly together.
It is a song i will surely suggest for relaxing and good easy listening. Nice one indeed.

Vocal Dance Radio hit
Review by : brainworks :: on : 7.12.2009 Rating: 9
okay, so i made my remix before having listened to this because that's how i roll... when it comes to remixing songs i don't know i just make whole new songs based around bare vocal tracks haha :)
what i like about the vocals for this is that they have sass and character which transcends genre.
the production here is very rich and full-on world ambient sort of thing. i would've held off on the 808 kick for a while, at least until the main vox kick in... everything has clarity and presence in the mix, yet nothing feels overpowering.
i don't dig the counterpointing when the verse comes back in, the accidental in the guitar riff doesn't sit well with the main progression. you started the vocal track early but dropped the drums in on the beat? the drums could have come in early too and the odd-meter measure before it would have sounded really cool...
the bridge vocals coming in again feels like repetition for the sake of it.
it's an excellent production with some arrangement quirks that don't sit well with me ;)

alchemy remodelled
Review by : profet :: on : 7.8.2009 Rating: 10
i am totally addicted to this song. it's a shame that music like this isn't more mainstream. It kind of makes me think of Imogen Heap (who I LOVE). Your voice is beautiful. The arrangement and sound production is near flawless. It may be my speakers but the vocal snippets at the beginning cause a little feedback. Not enough to make me love this song any less. The lyrics are great and the vocal melody is haunting. I heard the original (i think... does that make mine a re-remix?) on soundclick and loved it even more. That one puts me in mind of Portishead. I love the jazz piano samples in that version. You should really do more music. Would you be interested in a collaboration?
